I’m a very quiet man looking to experience different parts of Australia whilst looking after people’s homes. I’m very well mannered and tidy. Trustworthy and dependable. I don’t drink or smoke. Very much a homebody so perfect for house sitting positions. I’m very good with animals and have cared for dogs, cats, chickens, horses, Guinea pigs, sheep and geese in my previous house sitting positions. In the last 12 months I’ve completed 9 house sits.

“Pete did a great job caring for our numerous animals and home during our weekend away. He was communicative, tidy, and respectful throughout. We returned to find the bed stripped and laundry done, which was a lovely touch. Managing our many pets seemed effortless for Pete, and we highly recommend him for any house-sitting needs.”

“Peter arrived on the day before the sit as agreed, so as to familiarise himself with us and his surroundings and settle in before we left. He is cheerful, friendly and confident, noting where things were and asking questions to clarify. We immediately felt comfortable leaving him to manage our home. He looked after our two horses, feeding them their daily hay ration, and was not expected to handle them, though they are very quiet. Our dog Chan became his best mate, enjoying his company on daily walks and being on nightwatch. The chooks were let out and locked up dilligently, therefore rewarding Peter with daily egg supplies, to his delight. The vege garden attended to perfectly. We arrived home to find he'd mowed our yard, totally unexpected and very much appreciated. We unhesitatingly recommend him for housesitting and would love to have him return anytime.
