Update 30/12/24: Sadly my wonderful dog passed on today so I am now available for all house/ pet sits.

Hi folks. I am a mature, responsible and friendly female who has been caretaking,animal/house sitting since the NSW fires of 2019/2020.

I am an offgrid specialist having lived over 30 years in the bush on farms then my own property,and for the last 5 years caretaking bush properties and occasionally town homes for others.

I have experience with solar systems,pumps etc,as well as looking after cattle,horses,,donkeys,goats, sheep,chooks,guinea fowl, ducks, dogs,cats, alpacas and fish.

My passion has always been growing organic vegetables, and was co-leader of a Sydney botanical gardens sponsored community garden, where I was in charge of building and maintaining wicked raised beds, and where we grew fresh vegetables for a local charity.

I am a clean living animal lover who cares for homes,animals and gardens as I would my own.

Happy to consider bookings in the Eurobodalla shire between Narooma and Bateman's bay only at the moment until the new year. Please check my bookings calendar for available dates.

“We would highly recommend Niav to anyone who requires a Housesitter. The pets were well looked after, she treated them as her own, taking our dog for a walk and swim daily, also giving the cats the attention they needed. Our garden and pot plants looked healthier than ever when we returned, she even mowed our lawn and surrounds, including the track down to the river. We can’t thank her enough for her hard work and dedication. We highly recommend Niav to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring housesitter-you won’t be disappointed!”
