I'm a mature retiree who is keen to take care of your precious cat.

I have had loads of house sitting experience both here in Victoria and interstate. I'm very keen to start again and enjoy time caring for your cat.

Over the years I've had both cats and dogs of my own and now find myself enjoying looking after other people's pets. I will care for your cat as if it's my own, giving loads of cuddles and kindness. I understand their different behaviours and enjoy watching them play.

While living in your home I'm very house proud, neat, clean and tidy. I always treat homes with respect, ensuring everything is keep as you would want it.

I have my own car and and consider myself to be a very capable person. I pride myself in my honesty and reliability.

“We found Vera to be easy going & friendly, and most importantly a gentle, capable carer, especially with our two older cats, one of whom was on ongoing medication. It was a lovely surprise to receive texts and photos about Mango & Pippa every few days - certainly a peace of mind to us as first time users of Mindahome, plus our cats were happy & contented when we arrived home. Vera kept our home beautifully maintained for our return, despite some unfortunate plumbing issues, of which she kept us constantly updated. We were relieved and grateful Vera stayed, and have no hesitation recommending her as a house sitter, or hoping she may sit again for us in the future!”

“Firstly, after applying to mind our home Vera made herself available to come and meet us and for her and us to discuss what our requirements were for the upcoming home sit. We found Vera to be warm and intuitive to our needs especially towards our moggy Willow and our garden requirements. Vera, kept us up to date with with messages to reassure us of what was happening which was very thoughtful and relaxing for us. We have no hesitation in recommending this lovely lady for any future house sitting requirements when they arise.”
