Glynis (retired Principal University Lecturer), and Chris (retired Police Officer) enjoy world travel, riding (small) motorbikes, touring Australia and caring for animals. We have just sold our 20 acre hobby farm relocating our two alpacas and 2 sheep to close family at Woodside in the Adelaide Hills. Gardening large and small has been a full time job for the last ten years turning an empty paddock into well manicured acreage. We’re happy with hand operated and ride-on mowers, and driving small tractors. We have raised pet goats, many chickens, and rescued/raised/released over 60 wild ducks. Our 16 year old Shih Tzu Bob passed away 2 years ago and we miss looking after him and taking him for walks. We are both extremely clean and conscientious and mindful of the security of your home and pets welfare. We both volunteer (Chris is President, Glynis is Public Officer and Project Manager) for our local Returned and Services Club. We’re happy to care for small and large dogs, cats, and farm animals. Happy to administer medicine and take them for hair cuts or veterinary visits. We are very conscientious, very clean, neat and tidy, and extremely security conscious. They have dealt with a few unexpected things that arose during their stay and kept us informed throughout. When we met them for the first time, it was clear our property and pets were in great hands, which gave us a real peace of mind. They also dealt with a few extra things that cropped up while we were away, left the house in immaculate condition and we would highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable sitters who are also lovely people. “Couldn't have asked for better people to house and dog sit for us. Glynis and Chris were a kind and caring couple who Ruby really took to (treated like a queen, lol).
