Hi! I come from Newcastle NSW.
For most of my life I have worked as a Mothercraft nurse &/nanny - which I continue to do.
I also have a housekeeping position a couple of mornings a week.
I moved to Newcastle a few years ago from regional NSW after being separated.
I am a mum of three boys - who are now all grown up!
During my mothering years we ran our own farm.
I have lots of experience with animals of all sorts - over the years we've had just about every pet animal you can think of!
After my last dog died - a big maremma of 13 years :( - we moved into town to live.
My work as a mothercraft nurse has required me to move around a lot - from family to family - often staying with them in their homes to help them with their new precious baby.
And there have been many times where I have had families employ me to care for their babies & very young children - in their homes - & even when the parents went on trips overseas!
Some of these also required looking after their cats & dogs as well.
This hopefully gives you an idea of my responsible, honest & trustworthy character.
I did a couple of house sitting jobs before moving to Newcastle - so still relatively new to it.
But as you can see I am definitely very experienced at caring for other peoples precious ones!!
I am wanting get out & see some of our beautiful country - travelling south from Newcastle from early February next year - 2025 - & hoping to be able to house sit along the way to help with the costs.
As an idea of my availability - I should be in VIC till end of March, SA April May, NT in June
& WA July till August/September, back in SA in October & then in NSW from November

“Grace was an excellent house-sitter. She looked after our three cats, the house and the garden and was thoroughly responsible in everything she did. Grace kept in contact with us on a regular, but not intrusive, way and dealt with any problems in an efficient manner. when we got home the house was spotless, the cats seemed very happy with life and the plants were all thriving. I'm I'm happy to give the highest recommendation for Grace.”
