PORT MACQUARIE SITS ONLY
Hi, I’m Lisa. I am a Port Macquarie local looking for sits in my home town.
For my whole life I have been an animal lover. I am an experienced pet sitter - I owned and ran a pet sitting business in Port Macquarie for 8 years, and have worked in a boarding kennel. I also volunteer as a koala carer for Koala Conservation Australia.
I have experience looking after most animals including dogs, cats, birds (I am a big bird lover), fish, rabbits, guinea pigs, turtles, chickens, rats, axolotls, ducks, lizards and even once looked after foxes! I’m not so keen on looking after snakes though… or horses (I’m a bit scared of them after being knocked over by one when I was little).
I’m one of those people animals seem to be drawn to and I love hearing the words “this cat will never come near you” as I consider it a personal challenge to be best friends with that cat by the end of our time together!
I am comfortable administering most medications and I’m more than happy to have your pets sleep on the bed with me!
My preference is long term sits of 3 weeks or more, however I will consider shorter ones. I need to stay in Port Macquarie to be near work but will consider Wauchope stays. Most days I will be at work in blocks of anywhere from 2 to 6 hours at a time but will be there every night and probably all day on my days off. Due to medical reasons I am unable to do really long walks and my work hours would make it hard for me to do morning walks on some days - however on these days I would be able to do middle of the day and evening walks.
I prefer sits with a garage or carport to park my car (not a dealbreaker)
