I am a kind and loving person, a grandmother to three, and an honest soul. I care deeply for animals and pets and enjoy creating a calm, welcoming environment. Through raising both biological and foster children, as well as caring for pets and others, I have developed strong nurturing, empathetic, and communication skills that are easily transferable to supporting and caring for homes and animals in any setting.

“Vanessa have been wonderful with caring for our furbaby Bailey. Sent us many pictures of Bailey's park and beach trips. Even on first meeting she been wonderful and we felt comfortable with her. She took very well care of our home too. We were so lucky to have her house sit and pet sit our doggy and guinea piggies. Definitely will look for her in the future. Can't say enough good things about her. Vanessa made our family trip overseas so wonderful knowing our furbaby is well taken care and safe at our own home.”

“Vanessa was absolutely wonderful! She took fantastic care of both my home and my dogs while I was away. I received regular updates and photos, and it was clear my dogs were happy, well looked after, and completely adored. The house was spotless when I returned, and everything was just as I left it. It gave me such peace of mind knowing everything was in such good hands. I couldn’t recommend Vanessa more highly — truly a reliable, caring, and thoughtful sitter!”

“Vanessa is a lovely, respectful, calm, practical & caring person, with loads of common sense (which I love). I felt very confident leaving our fur babies & home in her capable hands. Vanessa is great at communicating & I appreciated the time she took for our first 'meet & greet', then again a few weeks later to pick up the house key. Our cats were well looked after & we arrived home to a very clean & tidy house. Thanks heaps Vanessa!! I'd definitely recommend Vanessa to family & friends & would also recommended to the 'Mind a Home' community.”

“Vanessa built a great relationship with our staffy which was very important to us. When we returned home the place was tidy, the dog was happy and Vanessa had some homemade carrot cake waiting for us. Belle, our cat was also well looked after.”

“Vanessa was an incredible sitter, she looked after our two boys like they were her own, cooking for them, taking them on adventures and giving them lots of cuddles. We came home to two very happy dogs (I think they wanted her to stay) the house was also perfect. She was an incredible sitter who we would highly highly recommend. She was excellent at communicating and we had daily photos and updates.”
