I have recently retired from corporate life so am fairly new to house-sitting (I have done a couple of sits).
My background: I am lucky enough to have travelled extensively in my lifetime and lived in numerous countries. I've lived mostly in Melbourne and now on the
Gold Coast.
From an animal experience perspective, I've almost always had a cat or two and when my three children were growing up we also had a bunny and a budgie. Now they're adults, I've looked after my older son's small dog (French Bulldog) while he's been away. I have an interest in wildlife conservation and have been involved in Citizen Science projects and surveys with Watergum in Queensland.
Looking after your property and pets would be my pleasure and I hope will be of reassurance to you while you're away from home. I'm gentle and kind to animals and my mother taught me to always look after other people's belongings better than I look after my own - which is saying something as my own belongings are well kept too!
