My name is Heather. I am 31 years old from the UK.
Looking for my homes from home! I am on my 26th consecutive week of house sittings in Perth and they have all gone perfectly. See my wonderful reviews! Both in the review section and in my pictures from my other sitting platform. Unfortunately due to limited pictures I can upload I can not show you all 10 5 star star reviews on my other platform. However very happy to show you them in person :)

Knowing I’ve made things so easy for homeowners and looked after their pets as if they are my own has been incredibly rewarding. You will find your home is pristine upon your return.

Due to a return sitting unexpected circumstances I am free for a few dates in the next few months. Usually I am booked up 2-3 months ahead). Eager to confirm sittings within the following dates.

I have a lot of experience in looking after cats (15 years) previously owned Oriental and Siamese. Dogs (6 years +) Pomeranian -the tiny size of 3kg. House sitted from Main Coone’s and large Ragdoll cats to Burmese as tiny as 1.7kg. Energetic Jack Russels and Schnauzer In addition looked after friends dogs along the way (Daschunds and Labradors). All very wonderful in their own way and have their own special personalities.

***Why am I choosing to complete house sits? ***.
Well I love pets to start with and its been a huge factor in me being able to move passed feeling a bit home sick. ( I spent almost 3 months in a campervan March - May travelling east coast so home amenities are very desirable.) so I’m used to being in different environments. I am at the age where I prefer comfort :) absolutely loving Perth!

Unexpectedly I ended up in Perth but I am so happy I am here. I am loving Perth and would consider living here for the long gevardy. House sitting has been fantastic for me. It’s the element of being able to experience living in different neighbourhoods, giving and receiving love from pets and helping someone out. Met such wonderful owners along the way.

***Why I should be chosen as your sitter***
I am really good with pets and always have been. I’m a natural. I have a nurturing and loving nature, whom pets just instantly warm to. It’s certainly the reason I have had recent success in confirming my latest sittings. The reactions from the pet(s) have been so positive.

When it comes to trusting a stranger to look after your pets , i completely appreciate it may be daunting. Please however be rest assured I am a really caring, trustworthy and considerate individual who will take great care of your home. When it comes to your loving pet(s) I promise I will look after them as my own. Pets are not just pets they are a member of the family.

*** How I ended up doing sittings in Perth***
I arrived in Australia in March to complete a 6 month volunteer position travelling all around Australia living in a camper van. Due to things out of my control my contract unexpectedly ended in May. The panic what next! Although it was incredibly sad at the time it gave me an opportunity to try something new. So I brainstormed and thought… what is going to make me happiest…
1. I love looking after pets and being in the presence of pets.
2. I love living in a home.
As they say when one door closes another door opens. I have enjoyed every moment and certainly been my most happiest since I have been in Australia.

I have a lot of experience in looking after cats (15 years) and dogs (6 years +). I own a 6 year old 3kg Pomeranian and have done so since he was just 12 weeks. My very treasured boy (who I miss dearly) is with my wonderful parents back in the UK currently while I travel and experience life in Australia. It was extremely hard to leave him but my mum is the absolute best with my dog, so I can rest easy.

I also have great experience in handling and looking after cats. I had two family pets (cats) from kittens- one to aged 11 and the other 15. I handled and helped care for everyday and would be their sole carer when parents went away. Looking after cats has certainly been the reason I prefer little pets :).

The house sitting location ideally needs to be in close proximity to Perth City (ideally within 45mins travel time) and good catchment of public transport (buses/train). (Been very impressed by the public transport so far). I do hold an Australian driving permit and UK driving licence if there was an unexpected emergency. Please note I work just 3 days in Jollimont. Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday 9-3 so your fur baby(s) will not be left too long.

It is important your pet is comfortable for your peace of mind. As my preference I like to make the effort and meet you at your home or your preference somewhere local to you. It’s completely up to you. It’s a great opportunity to see my interaction with your loving pet(s).

I am on a holiday visa for my first year currently. I have been granted my second year visa in advance! It may be in fact from doing your sitting you may want to choose me for your future sittings if and when you choose to have a holiday. I have regulars who frequently book me in.

Please do not hesitate to make contact with me if you think I would be a good fit. I am very willing to make the effort to meet you at your home so we can speak in person and you can see my interaction with your pet(s).

“Heather cared for my dog Ziggy and my apartment from 3rd–8th December, and she was absolutely outstanding. My home was spotless, Ziggy completely adored her, and she followed every instruction perfectly. Her daily updates of videos, photos and messages, gave me total peace of mind whilst I was overseas. She is a gorgeous, bubbly and respectful young woman who fully adhered to our strict apartment building codes, which is incredibly important in a large complex like ours. “Heather is the complete package! Reliable, respectful, experienced, great communicator, tidy, practical, adaptable, calm, caring, open, honest, thoughtful, animal lover. My two beautiful cats were the calmest I've seen them, when arriving home after 8x nights away. The house was spotless & tidy. All linen that was used was washed & a fresh bed made, which we really appreciated after our late arrival home. Heather so thoughtfully left us some fresh milk, along with a punnet of strawberries & cherry tomatoes. Also, on our dining table was a lovely, unexpected surprise . . . two framed pictures, one of each cat, with a thank you card. ❣️ Thank YOU Heather for applying for my cat/house sits & for doing such a stella job in caring for Buddy & Bea and for the trust & confidence you've given me. “Heather was a five star Housesitter. I have a difficult cat, Mia, with tricky behaviors. Heather was able to tolerate and support Mia with great kindness. Heather’s care of my home and garden was amazing. I had left the house in a clean state and when I returned, Heather had upgraded the home and garden to immaculate . “Heather is the dog whisperer; Bowie took to her from the moment she walked in. She took care of my fur baby and home 21st - 30th Aug. Bowie was well walked and loved. She taught him how to walk on the lead and manners at the table while we eat. I would not hesitate to recommend her and would ask her to sit again.”

“Heather was wonderful especially as she had to care for three different personalities of my cats. One of my cats a house sitter will only see at dinner time but with Heather he came out on the first day and I also have a wild cat that I feed and give shelter too and even she was happy to be looked after by Heather. The third was just happy to have someone that would sit with her which Heather did.”

“We couldn’t be happier with the care Heather gave our dogs while we were away. She was a great communicator from the start and made everything easy and stress-free. Our dogs absolutely loved her and she took them on long, regular walks, gave them baths, and made sure they were happy and well looked after the whole time. She also treated our home with so much respect, everything was clean and tidy, and it was clear she really cared. There were no issues at all, and we’d have her back in a heartbeat. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone kind, reliable and genuinely great with animals.”
