Hello!

I'm a reliable semi-retired guy in his 50s, recently moved to Melbourne. Working flexible hours, mainly from home. I'm bilingual - I can talk to dogs and cats, and have had both as pets at various times. Importantly, none have spoken back yet. Taking a W-A-L-K is one of life's great joys, and I'll make sure any doggos get all the exercise they need. You can be sure of plenty of postcards-from-home, because you want to know that you furry friends are OK.

Happy to mind homes with or without pets, ideally for a couple of weeks or more at a time. Your house will be clean and tidy all the time, and I'm OK to look after the garden or pool. My grown-up daughters live on the Gold Coast and my mum is in Melbourne.

I'm a non-smoker and can provide a police check (a good one!) if required. I am looking forward to looking after your home like it was my own.

“Michael is a gem! Grab him if he applies for your house sit. In pre-sit discussions Michael was very responsive and showed a genuine interest in my clan (2 dogs, 1 cat and 30 odd fish). He responded quickly to messages and attended meet and greets on time. He is very personable, and has not only charmed my clan, but my neighbours as well. His communication during his stay was of a Goldilocks standard. Ask for what you would like and you will receive it. When I returned to my home, it was cleaner than when I left it. (Just quietly he did the windows) There were no casualties amongst the fish, the house plants nor the Puppas or Kit Kat. I highly recommend Michael for your next sit. Enjoy your adventure and know you house and clan are in very safe and caring hands.”

“I travel very frequently and have a lot of dog sitters. Michael was one of my favourite sitters, ever. He was punctual, polite, friendly, calm, and very easygoing. Nothing was too much of a bother for him, and he handled any request with aplomb. Before we left, he was communicative about the plan and the dogs' needs, and while we were away, he sent regular updates on their care that were endearing. I am a very fussy person, in general, but I have nothing but positive feedback from his time with us. I would not hesitate to have him stay again or to recommend him to others.”
