I am a retired registered nurse, well used to responsibility and commitment, flexible and reliable.
I am also a previous pet owner who will follow your animal care instructions precisely, provide frequent text updates as well as keep your home clean and tidy; a non-smoker, non-drinker, and pretty much a home body.
I am gathering experience house-sitting and looking after other people's animals: I love animals. I acquired two rescue black cats, Gizmo and Chico, two-years ago, now living with my son and daughter-in-law, who took a while to warm to me but eventually snuggled up in bed with me. Gizmo even licked my nose which she only ever did with my daughter-in-law. I owned a dog, Cleo, or "Big Boofy Dog" for short, a pit bull - mastiff cross that looked like a sheep killing monster but was actually just a big affection mop. Cleo exercised me every day!
I am happy to maintain outdoor areas.
A friend suggested house sitting and the idea appealed to me instantly; experiencing new places and being of service at the same time.
