We are a german family of four based in Melbourne and currently travelling in Australia.
We have had guinea pigs and cats who lived for an incredibly long time in our loving care. We are also experienced in looking after other animals, both through housesitting and taking care of friends and family's pets, providing them with love and attention whilst they were on holidays.
Both of our daughters (12 & 15) have grown up around animals and are very respectful and caring towards any animals they are looking after.
We started using Mindahome in September 2025 and have had the pleasure of taking care of a number of wonderful pets and homes since then!

“Almut and Marian and their 2 daughters were an absolute delight to have as housesitters for a week. They were extremely friendly, great communications and updates about our 2 dogs and did an excellent job at caring for them. They left the house spotless and had washed all the bedding etc. I can highly recommend them as house sitters and would welcome them back anytime.”

“What a lovely family! Cared for our two cats and looked after our home as if it were their own. Left it very clean with all sheets washed. Were responsive to all communication - would happily recommend Almut & Marian!”
