Having done many house sits for friends over the years, and having retired recently, a non smoker and still very fit, I decided to make things more formal by joining Mindahome. I have had and have looked after Cats, Dogs and Chooks for many years, am an avid gardener ( plants and veges) and have also done a Permaculture Course. I currently live in a small cottage on acreage in Eumundi. I miss my cat and dog cuddles and also love a change of scene sometimes, so that is where my house sitting comes in.
Ideally I would prefer sits around where I live, so, Tinbeerwah, Cooroy, Peregian, and Doonan, Noosa, and Pomona, but may consider sits in Montville and Maleny. As a home owner for 40 odd years I know how important it is to have a reliable house sitter who will look after your home and pets as if they are my own. For your own peace of mind, I am happy to personally meet and greet, so we can get to know each other and to help you decide if you want me as a sitter at a time you are busy planning your trip.
