Hi, nice to meet you, we are Matt and Karen. An outdoorsy couple in our late 40s/early 50s currently looking to travel the east coast of Australia. We are proud homeowners and pet parents ourselves, so we understand exactly what it takes to trust someone with your space and your much loved animal family members. We have a love of all domestic and farm animals and happy to take on any needs you might have for your home and pets. We’re up early for walks, will be home regularly as Karen works on the road while Matt is on leave from work and has all the time to play or comfort your pet/s. At the end of the day we are just as content being busy or winding down with pets on the couch. Clean, practical and hands-on we are happy to stay on top of chores inside and out, from tidying to gardens, lawns and light maintenance. We’ll keep in touch as much (or as little) as you prefer, whether that’s regular photos or just a quick check-in. Easy-going but dependable - your home and pets will be treated like our own.

“OMG. Karen and Matt were fab. We hit it off straight away. And embarrassingly enough - I think our home was cleaner when we got home than when we left. And Monty or cat and Rusty and dog weren't fussed when we arrived home as they were attended to and looked after that well. Karen and Matt made the effort to touch base before the commitment to mind our home was made and we also met them in person before the stay. We also chatted regularly while we were away. I just don't really have much more to say. Just good genuine people that cared for our home as much as we do.”

“Karen and Matt were truly outstanding and an absolute dream to have as house and dog sitters. From our very first meeting, it was clear how genuine, kind, and trustworthy they are. They took the time to meet with us beforehand, learn about our home, and bond with our much-loved dog, which gave us complete peace of mind before leaving. During their stay, they went above and beyond in every possible way. Communication was excellent, with regular photos and updates that reassured us our dog was happy, relaxed, and receiving love and attention. It was obvious our dog was adored and exceptionally well cared for. We returned home to a content, well-loved dog and a spotless, well-looked-after home. We would welcome Karen and Matt back without hesitation and feel incredibly fortunate to have found them. We cannot recommend them highly enough — they are truly exceptional house and dog sitters.”
