Hello Pet-owners,
I'm a responsible experienced housesitter originally from Sydney. I'm a non-smoker, tea totaller who has been with Mindahome since 2012.
I've taken care of pets, garden and pools in New South Wales, Queensland, Northern Territory & Western Australia.
I love looking after dogs, horses, birds, cats, reptiles, fish, turtles, worm farms and prize-winning orchids.

“It was so reassuring to know that Lily (and her lovely dog Belle) were taking such good care of our home while we were away for 7 weeks. Communication was excellent. She kept us informed of developments such as weather events, blossoming trees, parcel deliveries, etc, often with a picture attached. She also did lots of weeding and kept our garden looking great, so it was a delight to return home and see everything looking so nice. Thanks Lily!”

“Lily looked after my scaly lorikeets for 4 weeks whilst I was overseas. The birds appeared well and happy upon my return, however, Lily took it upon herself to move my native stingless beehive a few times without first checking and only admitted to moving them after I asked her if she had perhaps moved them to a spot she felt would be cooler, to ascertain why the hive was inactive. The messages between myself and Lily were very clear and she even stated how gentle she had been when moving the hive. When I explained that her actions were unacceptable and I was extremely upset as the hive was now inactive, she messaged me again to state she did NOT move the hive and had only "thought about it" and "nearly" moved it, and not to worry about giving a review. I was incredulous and not impressed. Very disappointing.”

“Not impressed with Lily. We actually walked her around showing what needed watering and how often. I moved lots of pots to greenhouse to make it easier for her, but I did not ask to have other pot plants or plants in greenhouse rearranged and moved about. Not watered as asked. Lily was busy telling us how good she was with plants, I don’t agree. That was all we wanted as we do not have pets. Lily contacted us several times complaining about wifi, ice maker making its usual noise. When we came home the first thing I had to do was vacuum as the floors were dirty, picking up her dogs fur. Also things in the house rearranged. So disrespectful to rearrange other peoples property. I would not recommend Lily. We have used this service several times with no issues. Lily made up for it. Would not recommend.”

“We were very confident that Lily would take good care of our home and garden. She even kept an eye on our neighbours lawns and special plants, as they were away as well. She sent us photos of our flowering plants so we didn't miss out on Spring. Lily is warm, caring, conscientious and enthusiastic. We returned to a home which looked neat and tidy. Even our windows had been cleaned! We wish Lily the very best for her future house-sits and are grateful to have met her.”

“Lily seemed to care for my cats well. However she told me she was stressed by the house sit - her issues were noise complaints, the tv, the wifi, my cat vomiting. I ensured she was comfortable cleaning up cat vomit prior to the booking. She reassured me it wouldn’t be a problem, then proceeded to complain about how stressful it was to clean. Lily moved many of my personal belongings and furniture and left my unit in a completely different state to when I left. My kitchen was left dirty with a lot of spilt food on the floor, bench top and in the cupboard. My fridge contained mouldy food. She took it upon herself to reduce my cats litter trays from 2 to 1 without asking me. My cats constipation was not managed as asked for. 2 kitchen items have been broken.”
