Hello, I'm Kellie - aka Mary Poppins 4 Pets, a nickname one pet owner gave me.

With more than 70 house-sits under my belt, across Australia and overseas, I operate on a win/win model. In exchange for pet and property care, plus security presence, I enjoy the comforts of your home. While you get to travel for work or leisure with peace of mind that all is well at home.

I’ve owned a few homes and properties myself. My cat lived to 19 and my dog had 14 happy years. They’ve gone to pet heaven now, which leaves me free to care for yours.

~ follow instructions but show initiative if there are none.
~ old enough to be wise and reliable and young enough to play with pets and care for the garden.

I’ve looked after dogs of all sizes including a litter of puppies, cats, birds, rabbits, chooks, turtles, rats, fish, goats, sheep, cows, horses, indoor plants, outdoor plants, pools and gardens. From the country to the city, I’m equally at home in urban townhouses, suburban homes, acreages and also off-grid properties.

I specialise in long-term sits, but sometimes have shorter periods available when there is a gap between the longer assignments.

“Kellie did a great job of caring for my x2 cats for 5/7 , x1 elderly and requiring medication . She was easy to communicate with and left the house clean and tidy. I had no concerns and would highly recommend.”

“Yes to recommending Kelli. Kellie left our house in immaculate condition, the bed linen washed and hung out, beds remade and milk in the fridge. She communicated well during our near 3-week trip away. Kellie successfully and compassionately dealt with a emergency about halfway through the farm sit really well. One of our young breeding goats for next year (and a personal favorite) during the night severely fractured her front leg in the paddock. She rang me as soon as she found out, provided first aid and sat with her for a couple of hours till the vet arrived. The goat had to be euthanised due to the injury. Not an easy experience for a farm sitter under any circumstance. We would like to thank Kellie for allowing us time away from our goat dairy.”

“We are very grateful to Kellie for taking such great care of our house and garden for the 2 weeks we were overseas. Lovely to come back to a clean house, thriving vege patch, flowers on the table, welcome back note and lovely pot of soup (made to our dietary preference!). Kellie was easy to communicate with and I appreciated her occasional updates whilst we were away. She was professional in her preparation for the housesit and all went smoothly as a result. I definitely recommend Kellie and hope she may be available again in the future.”
