Hi everyone!
I was forced to stop housesitting during the pandemic, but I have now decided to return to it, in 2024.

My name is Ray and I work as an Events Manager mainly for hotels and corporate functions and I've managed to go all around the world doing that in places like Dubai, London and New York.

I grew up with animals. (birds, dogs, cats, and goldfish) I always missed being around them when I was travelling and living in apartments, and it's my love of animals which has motivated me to get involved in housesitting which I'm very excited about.

Now I’m back home I’m semi-retired, so I’m able to spend quality time with your pets and can offer added security for the protection of your home. I’m a non-smoker, clean, and respectful of others and their belongings.

I am a book lover, a foodie, a jazz aficionado, and enjoy going to art galleries.

I would love to take care of your house and your animals. To be in the service of others and my friends of the four-legged variety is something I find immensely satisfying and rewarding.

“I did not have a good experience with Ray. He accepted my house sit for a 6 week period and notified me half way through on the day before Christmas Eve he was not able to continue. I arranged for a friend to pick up my cat for the remaining 3 weeks. When I arrived home yesterday: - There was cat poop and vomit left on the floors - Wet bedding had been left in piles on the floor and on furniture which is now mouldy - There was a roast chicken left in the kitchen which had caused flies and maggots everywhere - Dishes and cutlery were crusted with food - My kitchen had been rearranged - The air con had been left on It was disgusting and distressing to come home to this and shows a complete lack of respect from Ray.”

“Beware of this Housesitter. He did not walk the dog at all, did not give Daisy any of the treats we left. Had a young man over to stay for a few days. Did not leave the unit except to pick up the food left at the door by the Uber delivery. We have video footage from the outside camera focused on the front door and driveway. Never again! Only gave a star as I had to.”

“Ray was a great house sitter for us. Our Spicy is a very anxious dog and needs a lot of attention, and Ray was great with her. Our plants were well looked after, and the house was tidy and organised when we came back. Ray was always in communication with us and kept us updated on Spicy's wellbeing. I highly recommend Ray and will certainly reach out to him again in the future.”
