Well, I’m a Scottish born Aussie with an accent most can understand!
I arrived in Australia in Feb ’93 to work short-term as a foreign doctor in Brisbane hospitals but I met my husband-to-be water-skiing on the Brisbane River and never returned to my homeland.
We raised a daughter on the Sunshine Coast, (who was horse-mad), and I worked part-time as a holistic GP then later as a national first aid training manger and author of first aid books for an RTO (Registered Training Organisation).
I’m currently working from home so all I need is a wifi connection and your home and pets won’t be left alone for any long period.
I’m a full-time house sitter, no dependents or pets and own a small car which can fit in most car ports or garages. The vehicle has low ground clearance so if the drive to your property is rutted I won’t make it there.
I've lived most of my life on a 40 acre property on the Sunshine Coast and have a lot of experience looking after horses, cattle, chooks, pasture, gardens and pets.
I lead a healthy, active lifestyle (non-smoker, teetotaller and follow a GF, DF and SF diet), enjoy yoga, mindfulness, walking in nature and if the opportunity arises, love to dance and trail ride on horseback.
Most of my house sits come from word of mouth now, so if you require references, I’m happy to provide them.
I’m a happy, positive person and more than willing to meetup to see if you think I'm suitable for the position.

“Audrey is without doubt the House-sitter you would dream about. When we returned after nearly 3 months away the house was cleaned to perfection, the gardens and pot plants all in great condition, lawns mowed, even the hedges had been trimmed, and Tilly our little dog had learned lots of good manners while we were away. She had been taken for daily walks, fed special meals and obviously given plenty of love. She also sent us lots of photos and videos of Tilly playing and going on adventures. On top of that Audrey is the nicest person and so easy to talk to about everything. We will always be trying to get Audrey back whenever we go away, but fearful that she is going to be always booked out.”

“Audrey is a fantastic house sitter. Our house was so clean when we arrived home. She really went the extra mile looking after it. Our cat was very happy and relaxed. She’d clearly been well fed and loved during our absence. The garden looks fantastic and all our pot plants are thriving. We can unreservedly recommend Audrey and hope she’s available to look after our cat and home again in the future.”
