NOTE: Heading to Sth Aus to spend time with family. We are currently in North QLD till the 1st week of March and anticipate arriving in Sth Aus around the end of March -Early April.
We are a married, healthy, retired couple, both non-smokers, who have been house-sitting full-time for over ten years. After selling our business in Port Macquarie, NSW, we are now indulging in our love of travelling. Before running our own business, we were long-term Military personnel and then worked in the Corporate Sector.
As responsible individuals, we have owned and rented properties, maintained pools and various gardens, and are adept at handling any issues that may arise. We are mindful of the care and security required to maintain a property.
We have extensive experience with animals, having had numerous pets, both large and small, over the years. We are well-versed in caring for both young and older pets. We enjoy gardening and look forward to tending to the different gardens that come with house-sitting.
Being retired gives us plenty of time to look after your home, garden, and pets. We have travelled extensively around Australia and parts of Europe and cherish the experiences new places offer. When travelling overseas, we prefer staying in local holiday spots rather than tourist-oriented areas.
We relish the experience of living like locals and welcome the opportunity to be involved in day-to-day life, discovering the beauty of local areas. This approach is far more rewarding than merely ticking off tourist spots.
House sitting allows us to slowly discover new places, meet people, and enjoy the company of pets of all varieties, both large and small. We can provide references from other house-sitting sites.
