I'm a great animal lover, having owned and cared for all kinds of pets - dogs, cats, fish, rabbits, horses, a goat and a tree kangaroo! Very happy and confident taking dogs for walks, shampooing etc

I am very capable around the home. I enjoy gardening and have a quite a garden of my own. I've owned and looked after both salt and chlorinated pools (I have a PhD in aquatic toxicology) and very physically capable.

“We recently had Scott look after our 2 young active kelpies and 2 cats. From the outset communicating with Scott was great. We "chatted" a few times before he came and found him to be polite and friendly. Whilst we were away he sent us updates every few days with photos. We could tell straight away that our dogs were getting the care and exercise they needed. He genuinely seemed to care about their wellbeing and spent time with them. When we returned hoe the house was clean and well maintained. We have already spoken with Scott about having him come again. We would highly recommend Scott and are hoping he comes back!”

“Scott looked after our beautiful Kelpie, chickens, mallards and geese on our rural property. Everyone was super happy when we arrived home after a month including our garden, large veggie patch and home. Couldn't be happier. Communicated openly re any questions or issues with regular photos of animals throughout our trip which really helped us enjoy our trip. Clearly our dog had a great time and was given as much attention as he needed. We would love Scott to come again. A massive thank you from the whole family.”

“We returned from our Vietnam vacation to find the house clean and tidy and Gus & Alfie happy and obviously well cared for. Scott cared well for Gus who has a number of medical issues and updated us with comments and photos during our holiday. As he was leaving a few days before we returned home he liaised as requested with our neighbours on both sides who were completing Gus & Alfie’s care. We would happily recommend Scott to anyone looking for a great house sitter.”

“Lovely guy, neighbour spoke highly of him when I got home. Dog seemed to like him. House was pretty clean, no problem there. Most of my instructions re pet care were followed, all animals were fine but I had a cleanup on their enclosures to do when I got home. A few dishes from a couple of cupboards I specifically said not to use had been used (sentimental and precious stuff). Would recommend for basic pets but maybe not high needs or unusual pets.”

“Scott looked after our 2 dogs and home for 7 days. His reviews did not match our experience. The dogs were fine and happy when we returned. The house was fair. However there was a lot of dog poop in the backyard which questions how much the dogs actually were walked. My vegetable garden was not watered and many plants have died, even after we discussed gardening for a while in conversation. For a full time house sitter he didn’t even take the bins out. I would not recommend.”
