We are a young semi-retired professional couple having a 'sea change" experience.

I have run my own business for over twenty years years in the sports industry and Karen is a retired primary school teacher

We adore the company of pets, and are experienced in the care of cats, dogs, birds, fish and other animals. We will give your pets all the company and love that you would expect them to receive in your absence. We are fit and active, so looking after your home and garden is not a problem, as we run, hike or swim regularly. We are experienced with the care of elderly and sick pets and are able to manage any pre-scheduled and emergency veterinary appointments and daily medication in your absence.

We have international and local experience as house sitters and have excellent references (including police checks) that we can share with you.

It is always a concern leaving your precious possessions when you travel, and we understand the need to find someone caring and reliable to put your mind at ease.

As previous pet owners we would welcome the opportunity to care for your home and pets while you are having a break away.

“We were able to relax knowing that Greg and Karen were warm and responsible house sitters. They cared for our dog, sending regular pictures and updates. We came home to a tidy house, bedding washed and dried, and freshly made up bed. Thankyou again and so sorry that the weather was cold and wet your whole stay!”

They communicated well with us both before and during the sit and made sure that the house was clean and tidy when we returned home. “Greg and Karen are great house and pet sitters. They sent us regular photo updates and our cat looked very relaxed. We were very happy that they bonded really well. We came home to a clean house and perfectly maintained veggie garden. We are very happy to recommend Greg and Karen, in fact we have already made arrangements for them to mind our home and cat during our next holiday :)”

They were faced with our home in a state of flux, with our daughter and her family having just moved out but much of their stuff still here. They were coming and going a bit too, but Greg and Karen coped with that so well. We feel very grateful!”

“Greg and Karen were the prefect guests. They sent me pictures of the dogs several times a week & I could tell the dogs really enjoyed their company. If I needed to email them, they answered in a very reasonable time. The house was left in immaculate condition and the lawn was mowed. Thank you!”
