Good morning,
About to head overseas on holidays ourselves and will be back at the end of October 2025. We really are only available for a short stay of a few days close to the city of Sydney, Inner West, coastal and beach areas (partner works part time from home and in the office at Forrest Lodge) between the end of October and the 16th of December 2025.

We are happy to book in advance and plan ahead, currently we are free over the long weekend in January and over Easter 2026 we could also if required stay a day or so either side of these weekends if required.

Having just retired from the Department of Education, Police and Child Protection checks are still current.

I consider myself to be an honest, efficient and reliable person who lives an active and healthy lifestyle including time for work, rest and play. Iam house proud, a bit of a "neat freak", a covid golfer, foody and love
to travel.

I walk daily and happy to have the company of a friendly dog to start the day whilst house sitting also
experienced with caring for cats, fish, chooks, birds and other animals.

I certainly, would provide a message/ photo on arrival and updates of your pet to settle your mind and then you can relax and enjoy your break away.

We have old school values the 3 "R's" rapport, reliability and respect also non-smokers. You can be assured your
property will be cared for and respected whilst you are away and left in the same clean condition as when
we arrive. 'We do not cancel house sit commitments...... and request they are not cancelled on us."

I have been house sitting on this site since 2016.

further information or just establishing suitability for both parties.

I consider myself to be a good communicator and happy to chat over the phone, video and or a good "hot "coffee if doable.

We have and do repeat return house sits also if suitable for both parties on occasion.

“Kelly and David did a wonderful job minding our house, 3 dogs and fish. They were particularly compassionate towards our 5 year old kelpie x who suffered from a tummy bug for a few days during nasty weather. They hosed bedding and cleaned up mess and were resourceful in replacing wet bedding, etc, which went above beyond. Communication was also good. I highly recommend this couple.”

“I was initially impressed by Brian’s response to my ad then a very pleasant phone call confirmed my decision to offer the position to him. Having a sitter who seems to enjoy chooks is an important bonus for me. Brian proved to be reliable and responsible and looked after my girls and the house very well. He kept me appropriately informed both before, during and after the sit. His pleasant and confident manner meant I could happily leave my girls in good hands. I would welcome Brian again at any time and have no hesitation recommending him to others.”

“I was delighted that Kelly and David were willing to it for my weekend away. Having been here before, they were familiar with my chooks and the house so little explanation was needed. As before Kelly communicated well, both before and during the sit. Everything was clean and tidy and my girls well and happy when I returned. I look forward to their next visit.”

“Highly recommended, experienced house sitters. Kelly was very helpful under chaotic circumstances and was extremely accommodating of animals being out of sorts and even endured a power failure. All handled well despite challenging communication while we were overseas. House was treated like their own and left in pristine condition.”
