In 2016 we sold our home in Kingscliff, purchased a caravan and hit the road. We have done a mix of hobby farm sits, house & pet sits being more than 30 to date.
Bruce is a dentist so he does locum work as we go all over Australia. He was also a jackaroo back in his 20's.
I was a primary school teacher and this helps to gain work with families. Also a permanent rental and holiday Property Manager for LJHooker both in Canberra then Kingscliff.
We're parents of 5 between us and grandparents to 8. Our grandkids are based in Canberra and Hervey Bay.
Pets are a bonus as I miss not having them with me. I was a volunteer puppy educator for Assistance Dogs Australia. Both Bruce and myself have grown up surrounded by pets and have had dogs/cats/fish/chooks throughout our adult lives. We enjoy having a variety of animals. Pool maintenance is easy as we had a large in-ground pool. Lawn maintenance easy too. Able to use ride ons.
Leaving your home and it's occupants in our care is the best decision you could make. We make daily contact with photo’s and video’s or less often if you wish.
Homeowner’s often comment that the house was cleaner than when they left and sometime’s their pets, dogs, are better behaved.
