Thank you for your review on the Reverse Stamped Chassis Plate for Austin Mini.
Having read through your review we're glad that you feel you had good service, however in response to your other comments please note that the website states that "Delivery time is 2-4 weeks and is special order only meaning once the order has been placed it cannot be cancelled." This is because we have to send these away to a specially regulated company for stamping, arriving within 2 weeks is within the timeframe that we advise on the website at the time of ordering.
As for shipping, we can understand your frustration at cost due to the size of the part, however this unfortunately isn't as simple as shipping in an "ordinary letter envelope" as this would have no insurance on the part - if it goes missing in post we are not covered to replace it for you and as this is a relatively costly part we understand that the customer wouldn't want to pay again for replacing it. It is also shipped the way it is due to the sensitive nature of the product - we wouldn't want it falling in to the wrong hands.
