“*PADS ARE TOO THICK*
Used these brake pads with the vented & grooved 7.9 inch disc & calipers and found that the outside pad (nearest to the wheel) was far too tight of a fit onto the disc face due to thickness, Resulting in the extrusions on the calipers for the bolts fouled against the corresponding bolt hole extrusions on the hub.
As they could not pass behind without excessive force the pad was clamped against the disc preventing the wheel from spinning. I solved it by sanding down the pad for clearance probably by no more than 1 mm, Can't complain too much as it is not a standard setup but worth noting before fitting.
PS. The caliper pistons were fully retracted, And i cannot yet comment on brake performance / characteristics”
