Windows 10 rebooted unexpectedly (maybe crashed and rebooted, I was out). This rendered my 99% full 9TB RAID 3 drive unreadable, corrupted GPT partition info. I had purchased Active Partition Recovery in the past for recovery needs, but all it could offer for this problem was file by file recovery to a new drive. Well, I did not have a spare 9TB drive and did not want to do file by file recovery when that tool classified the partition condition as excellent. Purchased Partition Wizard Pro version after demo seemed to indicate the recovery could be completed with a licensed version. Sure enough, it recovered but to make the partition available to Windows I then needed to use the check file system (chkdsk) feature in the tool. All is well now with what appears to be minimal loss of data (from chkdsk). Save me a lot of time, data as well. Recommend this program.

It did not work. I had an external drive that suddenly did not show up in My Computer. I tried the free version first and it was able to get the drive information, so I purchased it, but how many times I tried the Partition Wizard, it was not able to do anything. You might just loose money for nothing.

Good layout. Useful features. Terrible customer service through their \'social media\' group. And this software isn\'t updated with any regularity. Disappointing to say the least...

I tried the free mini tool to extend a partition on cheapo Asus machine with a badly designed partition. Only took a few minutes and all is well. You will have to re-register QuickBooks though as it corrupts the license file. I\'ll buy the Mini Tool Pro now! Great stuff.

Some time ago, I used EaseUS Partition manager, but it became increasingly problematic and the support was difficult to arrange. So, after a quick search a few years ago, Partition Wizard appeared and it has worked extraordinarily well. It is so reliable for most of my client\'s needs, I simply load it on their platform. Mostly, I have used the partitioning features, however while migrating a friends desktop OS to a SSD I discovered the migrating OS to SSD feature. It was a joy to use. And, very fast. I would pay for the Pro version if there was a portable version. I don\'t like leaving potentially dangerous software on client\'s computers.

Was doing regular backing up and moving a bunch of files around from all my hard drives. Needed a place to consolidate the files so I could format the drives and reallocate the files as needed. Once I moved all the files to my 3TB toshiba internal storage drive, I started formatting all the external drives with their necessary formats (I use some for PC and some for Mac and some for both) when I accidently deleted the main partition on my 3TB internal drive. I was scared to death of having lost all of my research, documents from the last 20 years of my life, all the pictures and videos my family had. I looked online to undo what I just did and found too many contradicting suggestions. Luckly I stumbled upon MiniTool\'s youtube video about recovering deleted partions and immediately bought the lifetime license. I had some trouble setting up the software in the beginning because my system is a bit abnormal from the normal use case so I contacted customer support and they got back to me withing a couple hours with detailed instructions. They helped my out through a couple back and forths because I was unsure and didn\'t want to do anything to risk losing all my data. Support was patient with me and helped me recover all my data! Thanks for all your help MiniTool! I\'ll spread the word around to all my friends :)

Hallelujah! It worked! I\'m on Windows 10 64bit with a 3TB HD I installed a while ago. I didn\'t want to reformat or lose anything, just give me the dang 3TB Microsoft and stop making this so freaking complicated! $39 later and MiniTool did the trick. There was a lot of breath holding as it completed its operation with a reboot but there it was - all 3TB! Only had to extend the partition and use up the elusive 746GB that had thus far been unallocated and inaccessible. Everything worked and I do not regret dropping the $ to get it accomplished - finally!
