The luxurious pile is over one inch thick and has 90 knots per square inch. At over 9kg per square meter in weight this is one of the heaviest rugs we sell. These rugs not only have a very expensive look & feel but their superior construction makes them extremely durable. “The award of four stars is due entirely to the thoughtfulness and attention of Alison who was very helpful and to whom I am very grateful. I was unaware of a slight hitch in processing the payment for a carpet and this could have meant the order remaining on hold. Alison was sable to ensure the carpet was delivered in good time before I left for holiday. Several weeks later I was unable to reorder this item as it was no longer stocked by the firm. Yet the carpet was still available from the importers and Modern was still one of their preferred suppliers. Another retailer was able to fulfil the order and no doubt probably profited by a few hundred pounds. It seemed to me very little effort was involved in this task and I am surprised Modern were uninterested. I am well pleased with the carpet.”
