“This rug is gorgeous, really soft and a nice light grey, not the blue-grey that you can sometimes get. The only reason I have given it four stars (4.5 would be more accurate) is due to the fact that when someone has been standing on the rug or a side table has been placed on it the viscose which is more shiny than the wool seems to mark so you think the rug has stained but in fact it is just the nap direction and a quick hoover or rubbing over the marked bit gets rid of it, but this does mean that you have to hoover the rug often. Although this problem does seem to be lessening as the shedding wool (normal with all wool carpets) is reducing over time, we've been using the rug for about two months now, and it is definitely better than it was. I have since discovered that the viscose mix needs a bit more care than 100% wool. Try not to spill liquids and if you do soak them up as quickly as possible. I would buy the rug again though as it really is lovely to look at and gorgeous to touch. There are six of us and a dog in our house, and the rug is in our kitchen lounge area, so really gets used all day long. In a quieter household or area I would imagine it would be easier to care for. Or just be prepared to hoover alot!”
