The 'Mad Men' collection by renowned Belgian designer rug manufacturers Louis de Poortere feature shimmering accents on a lush background of rich colours. Woven on wilton jacquard looms using a combination of High Gloss Polyester (15%) and Cotton Chenille (85%). These rugs feature an antique like aged appearance and a 'flatweave' pile which is thinner than most normal tufted wool rugs, making them ideal for putting under tables and chairs. Their flatweave construction also makes them highly durable and easy to maintain. “I wanted a large thin rug to cover our wooden floor under the dining table with chairs and this rug was perfect. You can hardly see any pressure marks from the chairs and the lovely light grey colour which has a slight sheen to it, is discreet enough to let other colours around the room come through. We use a anti-slip rug underneath so it stays in place.”
