“Brought for when I have my period. Started with one to try for size, then brought 2 more, have now brought 2 more. I also have some of the lighter weight products. They are comfortable, much more comfortable than wearing pads. They have padding, but it doesn’t feel as much as using sanitary pads. They work. I can wear a pair all day and night with no leak and no problems with smell etc. I almost forget I have my period as I can’t feel it and don’t need to remember to change pads. They have great coverage at the back for night time. They are also ‘pretty’, doesn’t feel, or look like I’m wearing period pants. I also feel it’s better for the environment to use less disposable products.
Down sides are few. They take ages to dry due to the padding. This is the reason I’ve brought more pairs as it’s hard to wear wash and dry in time to wear again with only 3 pairs. Ideally you need a pair for every day of your period. There is a cost, but I like that I don’t need to worry about buying pads or running out of pads and I’m happy with the cost as they are more comfortable too.”
