I loved the look and fit of these, they were very comfortable to wear. The outer material feels just like normal underwear rather than any other type of waterproof material.
I have heavy flow which includes sudden gushing/flooding throughout the day. These lasted 7 hours of wear with no problems, but at 7 hours blood started to leak through the seams. The leaking was confined to the seams in the gusset, and there was no leaking through the actual gusset which was quite impressive.
One one hand I am impressed with these lasting 7 hours (I would have needed to changed a pad/tampon 3 times in the same period), however I'm also a little disappointed that they only managed just over half the stated time they could be worn - 12 hours for heavy flow or overnight use. Although they didn't leak through the middle of the gusset (still impressed by that!) They did leak on the seams at the side so they're not quite as "leak proof" as claimed. I think this might largely be to do with the gushing/flooding that I experience, though.
Overall I still recommend people try these. It was still a pleasant first experience for me, and these could be the right absorbancy for many others without the issues I faced. For me, I will try the 24hour/maxi pant next to see if that helps.”
