“I wanted something to give me extra protection during my period because it can be a heavy flow. I searched the internet for the best products out there and this brand, to me, sounded like the better option.
The ones I wanted were out of stock so I went on the waiting list. A week or so later I was notified that they had more in stock. I ordered two because of the price, also I wasn't sure which size to buy so I bought a size 10 and 12. They arrived quickly. Size 12 was a more comfy fit around my stomach but I chose to keep both anyway.
Upon wearing them, I can say that I feel more secure knowing that when I have a heavy flow, I don't have to worry about leakage on my clothes which is always a concern during my period. I've worn them over two cycles now (together with pads, I wouldn't feel comfortable wearing on its own) and have found them comfortable and does the job very well. I did have a little leak overnight but the leak stayed on the underwear and did not come through at all!
In my opinion, they are quite expensive but for my peace of mind, they are worth paying extra.”

So...I kept seeing ads on Facebook, which I would read but then sceptically think "no how can they possibly work with my (insanely heavy) flow?!" But after yet another miserable period that included the usual leaks during the day and night, dull aches from a heavy full tampon to add to my cramp pain, having to visit the toilet every hour and waddling around with sani pads stuffed in my knickers in case I couldn't get to the loo in time I decided enough was enough, it had to be worth a try... BEST DECISION EVER!!!!
3 periods later (and I promise you they are CRAZY heavy) and not a single leak, no feeling like I'm constantly wetting myself, less pain, less toilet trips...just amazing. Rinsing them in cold water is super simple and takes moments, I've washed (and occasionally tumble dried mine when needed) and they're perfect, no unpleasant odour and comfortable to wear (so much more comfortable than towels and tampons).
Worth investing in the bundle packs, great value Vs the towels tampons wipes ruined knickers etc that I was wasting money on every month and better for the environment too-bonus! AND they definitely hold more than the cautious claims in their advertising if they had to...I got caught out in A&E wearing just a moderate flow pair on a heavy day (first pair I grabbed in a hurry expecting to only be an hour) and they saw me through for 14 hours! Without any leaking at all... Would have been horrendous if I hadn't had my modibodis on!
I've bought more now so that I can be covered on those risky days before my period due date and after I "think" my period has finished, and also so I don't feel self conscious/worried when working out or out on a day trip (2 kids and my pelvic floor just isn't as strong as it used to be!!)
