“I have struggled so much with sanitary towels leaking and staining my trousers - it makes me feel awful and wasteful. Hence, I wanted to try something different that could stop the reliable leak problem and help the environment too. I feel like I found the answer in the Modibodi underwear - although I haven't completely solved the problem as I can't quite afford to buy a pair for every day of my period but hopefully I can build up stock. The Sensual hi waist bikini pants are a great fit for me (small waist, large thighs) and feel really secure plus they don't look bad either. Most importantly the blood trapping has held tight through day and night! The only issue I have had is that, after washing I noticed that there was a not-so-pleasant smell from the underwear (like period blood). I followed instructions and used a cool, delicate wash but I feel like every time I wash the underwear the smell gets stronger. This is a little worrying as I can't really afford a replacement pair but at the moment it seems as if I will have to get a new, smell-free pair pretty soon.”
