“I was very excited to try Modibodi, and I am pleased to say it was a positive experience. I’ll be honest, it felt like a huge leap of faith, moving away from my usual products (towels and tampons) to just....pants. I had bought the light/moderate for my first pair and wore them on the afternoon of my 3rd day, which is usually moderate, easing to light. I was also sat in the car for 2 hours so was slightly nervous about getting up at the end. But.......no leaks, everything contained and felt reasonably comfortable. I have now ordered some moderate/heavy which I think will give me a bit more peace of mind, but that is just a personal preference (paranoia!!)
My main reason for switching was for the reduction in waste so to that end I am very pleased that this ‘experiment’ has worked! One of my NY resolutions ticked off”
“I wanted to try these due to thinking about the waste from disposable products as well as comfort. I can honestly say I'm now converted. I've bought two pairs but ideally need a few more as I don't do washing every day and want to wear at night too. I use them in addition to my cup and I can wear them all day whilst at work without the need to change (just emptying my cup). It's so good not having to worry about taking sanitary towels to the loo with me at work and not having the bulk of a sanitary towel or the rustle of it. Much more comfortable and a nice design too. I've only rated 4/5 on absorbency as I haven't tested it on heavy days without my cup so I'm not sure yet.”
