“I have just bought another set for my younger daughter. All three of us are now wearing reusable period pants. I hand wash them in cold water with a little bit of soap and leave them to dry. At the end of my periods, I put all hand washed underpants in the washing machine with my normal wash (no conditioner) on a low temperature wash setting. My older daughter has been using them for a year and she seems to be happy using them compared to disposable sanitary towels. Learning to clean your own pants is teaching my girls basic skills, self-sufficiency, respect of the environment and humility. I am so grateful for this product because women now have an choice about their environmental foot print and moving away from our disposable ways...”
