“Bought it for my 14 year old who doesn’t feel ready for tampons yet. She was on about day 4 of her period so we thought she’d be more or less safe to try it in the pool. After about 10 minutes of being in the pool she got out, with me right behind her to check all was ok. I noticed the slightest stained trickle but that was it. TBF, I was looking and no one else would have noticed. We spent probably a further half hour in the pool. When we came out she had been a lot heavier than we’d thought and would probably have postponed it to another date if I’d known. Just shows they really do work. I hope if she needs to use it again, she will be able to relax a bit more and feel confident as she was rather anxious it would end in disaster.
Went for size 12-14 Youth. She’s usually UK adult size 6 and about 5ft 3ins tall. It was a good, snug fit and nice style.”
