Seamfree Bikini Moderate Black Black / 06/2XS / Moderate Reviews

4.6 Rating 75 Reviews
I've used cheaper period panties for a while and finally decided to splurge on a pair of Modibodi undies as I'd heard good things about them. I loved that these were made from recycled material and promised no-VPL, while still offering good coverage. Unfortunately, the actual pair I received were rather disappointingly uncomfortable and strangely shaped. The crotch part (that goes between your legs) is way too wide, meaning that it not only sits uncomfortably but also wrinkles/bunches up which provides gaps for leaks. The 'pad' part of the underwear also goes super high in the front and back, which again feels relatively uncomfortable, and is sealed with a super thick band (feels almost like a magnetic strip, with similar weight and feel). At least the no-VPL part is true, even if they look and feel odd when wearing them. Overall, they're not the worst but I expected something a lot better for this price and reputation.

Hi Mairi, thank you for your review. We're so sorry to hear that you are not a fan of this style. As you can imagine, we're all different so all of our styles may not be a perfect fit for everybody. With our Seamfree fabric, after a few wears and washes, they are designed to soften so you may enjoy the fit of them after a few more wears. Otherwise, Please feel free to email us at info@modibodi.com and we can help find a style that you'll absolutely love (there's so many to choose from!)

I have a few pairs of ModiBodi and find them great but this one does not fit as snugly and has less absorbancy. A little disappointed.

Hello Shona, we're sorry to hear that the fit of this style wasn't that great for you! It's important to know that our Seamfree underwear should fit very snug at first as they will stretch a little over a couple of washes and wears. If they're not fitting snug on trying on for the first time, we would recommend to size down!

If you're in two minds about trying these, this is your sign to buy them! They have got to one of the best purchases I've ever made. No hassle, no pads, tampons, no leaks, just ease and comfort all the way. They are so liberating, I can't recommend them enough

These seem to have too much material on the pad/ bum section which is showing through clothing. It does feel like I’m wearing a pad on my knickers unlike all the other knickers I’ve purchased from here. Definitely couldn’t wear these to the gym, or with tight/ thin clothing. Having said that, I love modibodi, period knickers are a game changer! These are such a lovely colour for my skin and it’s great these are from recycled materials. From the front these are lovely, I also don’t get a vpl on the knicker line, it’s just ruched up material on my bum which isn’t very flattering on me

Hello Louise - thank you for your review! We're sorry to hear that you aren't enjoying this style as much as your other pairs! Our Seamfree fabric needs to be worn and washed a few times in order to experience the true fit, and then you may find that they sit more seamlessly on you :)

I tried the nude colour medium/heavy bikini brief style pants. I was initially a little disappointed in the look and feel of them, as the material felt more like swim wear than underwear. However, After despairing of constant leaks when using maxi pads and tampons, I decided to give them a go on a particularly heavy flow day and the were amazing. No leaks, no smell. I will definitely order more.

Comfortable fit, wore them all day no leaks. Love the fact they don’t look or feel like period pants!!

Have to say these are the most comfortable pair of midi I own. Not the best when really heavy but great on lighter days
