“I follow a principal of ‘if you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all’, but after 4 emails prompting a review I am writing this in a spirit of offering feedback that may be helpful to the company, as well as to stop getting these emails. I bought 7 pairs of Modi body - 4 size 10s and 3 size 12s - because I am a size 8-12 depending on shop and wanted to ensure at least one suitable pair. It is frustrating that even the 12s are discomfortingly tight. The 12s are just about tolerable for 1-2 hours in especial need - ie when exercise means that pads slip out of place (I use a menstrual cup primarily, but use backup on heavy days), but I am constantly aware that I’m wearing them, (especially the exercise variety, ironically) so will be buying more of another brand to replace these. Offering a hipster cut may have made a difference - hipsters are the only fit of any pants I find comfortable; I wonder if 14s would have been serviceable but won’t risk more money on these to find out.”
“As a 45 year old with two children and a couple of days a month when I bleed heavily, these are great as back-up against leaks, particularly overnight. They are also flattering to wear under clothes (probably not a white summer dress), a bit like shapewear, I imagine! I have not yet got to the stage of using period underwear with no other protection, but use tampons + period underwear on heavy days/nights.”
