“As always, amazingly packaged and such greatly detailed directions. Great quality as expected from lego. Love the details they always think up. My teen enjoyed assembling it and has it on display now. Honestly I didn’t find the price bad for the size of the kit. Some do seem overpriced but this wasn’t bad at $129.I’m d recommend it to any lego fan who likes vespas.”
“Got the idea to build my mom this 75th anniversary edition Vespa after a lifetime of hearing her talk about dreams of a moped; actually, Disney Pixar’s Luca really sealed the deal for me as I wanted to build a Vespa like Luca and Alberto, too. Very satisfying build once it is all put together, but there are a few steps in the process I found a bit frustrating when adding bricks would cause others to come apart. Mom loves it and now I can say I got/built her a rare blue (lego) Vespa.”
“I have been on a Lego kick since the start of COVID, rekindling my childhood love of the bricks and enjoying more complex builds with my pre-teen and teenage daughters. I have build a number of vehicles and have enjoyed expanding my “garage.”The Vespa, while quite pretty, is very poorly engineered compared to others like the Porsche 911, BMW motorbike, Batman Tumbler, etc. my concerns were confirmed when the piece couldn’t handle being held with one hand or simply being knocked to its side, both events necessitating frustrating rebuilds.I’m hoping my next one (I’m considering the DeLorean or the VW bus) will hold up better.”
“Bought this Lego set for myself. Took me awhile to get it all together due to having missing pieces and due to the parts falling apart. Thank God I had extra legos and was able to improvise in order to keep it from falling apart. Really cute when done though !”
