“I purchased this for my 83 year old Mom. She was a bit reluctant opening the gift. A week later she said she liked that plants were separated into bags. A week later told me her book club admired her new plants. She is clearly proud of herself. Don't know that I will give her another, but this was a GREAT gift.”
“The kit is relatively easy to assemble; however, it is extremely delicate. As in it falls apart at the least provocation, resulting in difficult reassembly. This becomes a factor when adding one of the many light kits available. The specific kit we were given is no longer for sale. The Lego kit is not designed for the light kit, so the add-on is at best a kluge. Running the wires between the bricks, well, let's just say it takes the kit from fragile to falling apart. The bricks do not lock with the wires in place.The Lego set is fine once it's assembled. The light kit is a nightmare. If you buy this kit, avoid the light kit unless you are willing to file bricks to create channels for the wires. Otherwise, it will be next to impossible to assemble and not stay together.”
