“Bought this for my 6 year old grandson for Christmas and he loves playing with them. He prefers making his own creations versus following a kit with instructions.”
“Good classic LEGO set, no issues with the pieces, (and who really needs a review on a standard LEGO set? if you don’t know what LEGO looks like, I wish you warm greetings from us earthlings, and enjoy your stay.)But my review here is about the box: I liked it because it’s a cute shape, and has aesthetic appeal. And it’s slim and fits on my shelf without occupying too much space. The problem is that the smallest pieces (like the little dots, the eyes, the smallest size tiles, the single leg-like pieces, etc.) get stuck in the wells on the bottom of the box. Also, since it’s deep, the bottom of the box is hard to see in the light - you can’t really hunt for pieces effectively. So we basically end up emptying the aesthetic but impractical box every time we pull the set out, and that makes for messy play and annoying clean -up, plus added tension whenever have a baby over.And all this makes me more reluctant to pull it off the shelf.So, in short: Quality toy, great set, cute box, dumb box design.”
