“Perfect 15X15 size.Nothing irks me like seeing tiny Lego pieces all over my house in nooks and crannies. So my solution was to make a portable board with storage included.I used rubber cement to glue the base plate down on a white foam board. I applied rubber cement on the entire back of Lego base plate and let it dry, then applied rubber cement on the area of the foam board for the Lego plate to be placed on and let that dry. Once both pieces were dried I carefully lined up the areas and stuck them together, I then applied light pressure all around and voila! C'est fin! Then I used velcro adhesive strips to stick on 3 plastic bowls with covers for storage of pieces. My kids Lego collection is very tiny so this works for now. Will post pic soon. When his collection is bigger, I will get a bigger container similar to the length and width of the portable base. I may have to cut off some of the white foam board. Then glue the portable base on to container cover so it's still portable.”
“Awesomely big baseplate for at home fun and competition transportation. I’m going to get a couple more of these to secure to the top of my kids’ play table. Highly recommend.”
