“I bought this for my grandson who loves to build Lego sets, especially large Star Wars ships. This baseplate makes assembling lego sets of all sizes much easier. I highly recommend these.”
“I ordered this 4 my son for Christmas came on time. He really liked it at first. But then he found that the Legos don't really click into this base very snuggly. So when he tries to build a structure on this base it doesn't hold very well. And when he tries to move it all in one piece. It falls apart”
“Does not seem to be very strong. Hopefully it is just a very flexible plastic. Since I though it was made to create and then carry, I would think it would be stiff. Tends to bend easily. Grandson is using and does hold pieces good. Will see how long it actually goes without carcking.”
“LEGO brand baseplates aren’t cheap, however, their quality is unmatched when compared to the knock-offs.This baseplate is larger than the typical baseplate, which can be both good and bad. If you are amassing a larger scene and you want to connect baseplates, this size can be problematic as it doesn’t cleanly fit next to the typical 10 x 10 baseplates. You’ll need to have a few 5 x 5 or 5 x 10 plates to make everything fit nicely. However, if you’re looking for an isolated single scene LEGO build, this plate is quite nice as it gives you more real estate to build. It really depends on what your goal is.As you can see in my images, I was able to make these larger plates fit within my LEGO city, and they’ve proven to be very useful as they provide lots of space with which to work.Overall, this baseplate is great, and you won’t find the same quality in the knock-off brands.Try to find this baseplate when it’s on sale in order to avoid the retail price of $15.If this review provided you useful information, please click ‘helpful’ below.
