“My 11 yr old grandson got so excited when he opened his birthday gift and saw thisNYC Architecture project. Sadly we were disappointed that when built the buildings wereso small. The actual Statue of Liberty was 1/2" or so in height, with bas perhaps 1- 1/2+".We understand the buildings are all in proportion to their true size in this project.. But Ithink they should be larger than they are.Otherwise my grandson loved it very much and started building it immediately!Update: I decided to order this again for another grandson but was surprised at how much the price jumped up from my Sept purchase of the first one and my decision to order it in early Dec. I understand cost goes up but doubling the price was a "Holiday price hike! It's come down a bit or other vendors are getting in the competition but I'm still going to wait for it to get back closer to the original price I paid, then I'll order more for my other grandsons. Something on about an 1" wide strip and tallest bldg. only 10" high... got a bit pricy.”
