“I purchased this shaft being a newbie in RC. I noticed that the balancer generated inconsistent results but thought that it's OK. After some time (over half a year) I finally tested the shaft and found that it's bent. I contacted MotionRC asking to fix the problem (replacing the shaft, etc.) but got a negative response. The shaft itself is quite thick, therefore difficult to bend. So i presume it's a quality control issue as it couldn't be bent while shipping, etc. So be aware of that and check the shaft asap.”

“This is an awesome precision tool. I was able to perfectly balance a new 11x7 3-blade propeller resulting in it producing absolutely zero vibration when spun at speed. It seems like there's just zero friction with the magnetic suspension. Shaving off what can't be more than a few micrograms with 1200 grit still causes the prop to reliably resettle in an expected new position. The cones also seem to be perfect cones. I re-positioned the propeller numerous times on the cones and it made no difference in where it settled, meaning that the cones must have extreme precision.”
