“I have a few E-Flite batteries that I wanted to use in my other aircraft that had Deans connector ESC's. These connectors work as advertised and for the price you can't pass it up. You can make this adapter but after factoring in parts, time, etc. it's just more convenient for me to buy this adapter from MotionRC.”
“The connector is fine, but EC3 connectors have confusing descriptions. Yes, this connector is used to connect a battery with a EC3-Type connector to a Deans-Type esc. The confusing part is that the blue casing on a EC3-type esc is FEMALE, but the prongs inside are male. The blue casing on a EC3 connector on a battery is MALE, but the prongs inside are Female. For example, a Charger lead like ADMCHRGEC3 that is Banana to EC3, has a Female blue casing EC3 conector with Male Prongs, to accept the Male blue casing EC3 connector on the Battery, which has Female Prongs. Anyway, this connector, does connect a EC3-type battery to a Deans-type esc.”
