“I recently purchased EC5 connector from different place and that is when I realized that there are 2 kinds of EC5 connectors. One kind requires installing metal bullets from the back of plastic housing (Motion RC) and the other kind requires installing metal bullets from the front of plastic housing. I prefer the installation from the back of plastic housing, that are sold by Motion RC. In the other kind it is impossibly to remove metal bullet from plastic housing once installed, plus you are sliding in the metal bullets with the solder portion first, and if you have some solder around the bullet next to wire you will not be able to slid it in.”
