“This is a well constructed airplane. I have yet to fly it, but that will have to wait for the snow to disappear. I do recommend this bird for the price. I stayed electric with it, all recommended components. Added lights and a little beefer tire set up.”

“Built my plane using an Avionics 5065 motor with a xoar 17x7” prop. With Castle 90amp ESC, max current was 83 amps using a 5000mah 6s battery. Flight time is easily 7 minuets with throttle management being around 3/4 throttle avg. After initial mock up, I add 1.5 oz in the tail section before permanently installing the horizontal stab. This turned out not to be quite enough requiring me to remove the pilot and seat for correct battery placement after build was complete. With the CG now set per the manual, initial flight was uneventful and impressive. This is one of my favorite planes to fly now not to mention it’s really beautiful. I’ve got about 40 flights on it so far with zero issues. If you’re looking for a great flying and well built Turbo Beaver, look no further. By the way, this power set up is for scale flying and has a wonderful prop rip sound!”

“Impressed with the overall quality of the kit. instructions are adequate for the novice builder. Packaging of components keep parts organized during the assembly. Buiding in progress.”

“Here again I am going to list the pros and cons.PROS: Well built the landing gear is very strong. I liked the spats and the wheels. I would have liked to see the struts to have been Carbon Fiber, but the aluminum used is very sturdy. The wing attachment is fantastic. It only takes two bolt (pre installed) to since the wings on. This is done from the top side of the plane. Nice idea and convenient. The access to the interior from both from and side is excellent. I made this one a 12s Electric 30cc. It flies on rails. Unfortunately due to the position of the servos the batteries have no room for adjustment for CG if needed. The cowl is made of fiber glass and is done to perfection and paint is beautiful. They put in landing lights, but no Navigation lights. That is odd. I placed navigation lights on the fuse and an additional landing light in the cowl. Now it is looking better. The actual build was fairly easy and went together in two days. CONS: The tail section is a little difficult in the placement of the rudder with the tail wheel. Took a little more time to make sure it was where it should be. The plane is a little on the heavy side and the flying surfaces are somewhat small. I suppose that may be due to scale. The rudder interferes with the elevators. You will need to adjust for travel so that the ruder does not impair the elevators. Unfortunately the flaps will not do a spoiler affect due to the restriction of the semi-fowler arrangement. I suppose a builder could cut the top of the wing to allow for upwards movement. If I am to compare the Legacy Aviation Bushmaster and this I would say for the dollars this is the better deal. The Bushmaster is a better performer, but is fragile as opposed to this one. This is about 2lbs heavier and is not as nimble. Most due to the flying surfaces and the weight. The performance with a 6S Bushmaster to a 12S Turbo Beaver is much better on the Bushmaster. Again to the weight. The price is almost the same in the long run maybe a little less due to freight costs. My next point is the use of wire for the rear control surfaces. I would rather see servos in the rear of the plane. This can be modified and I may do so on the next one. I don’t care much for the fiberglass control horns either. Using 30 minute epoxy they still wanted to separate from the wood, so I chose to use some heavy duty control horns that were screwed in from top to bottom (much safer). In summary this plane is a very nice plane and I would surely purchase again if something were to happen to it. So far I have 6 flights and everyone has been perfect. I only wish I could be a little more tail heavy, the landings take a little more elevator than I like at the end, again due to the weight. Again the batteries are as far back as they will go without interfering with the servos. As far as the build I used a Xtreme Flight 30CC motor, 120hv CC ESC, and 645MG servos. With this said it flys very well and happy with the final.Good FlyingMako Smith”

“Well made airplane. Mine will be electric powered. Kit was well packaged and no broken or damaged parts. Haven’t started it yet but it should be a fun build.”

“With the exception of the other review, canopy, windshield and cowl colors do not match the body, 3 different shades, I don't think the end user should have to purchase replacements just to get the colors to match!!! Pics attached...I'm happy to see float hard points installed as just finishing up the mounts for them, a little more attention on the front mounts would have gotten a 10+Solid wingtips would have also been a bonus, was a bit of a pain to install the nav lighting”
