“This is a great kit and a joy to build. I customized it by installing an engine with electric starter so no more flipping or bending over. The other extra is a remote choke. Built in gyro completes a great flyer, slow like you wouldn’t believe.”

“Nicely made but poorly packaged. I have not built it yet. Hoping to in the next year. Bought a Wilga earlier with the same packaging issue. Why Black horse can’t fix this is mind boggling. I can’t evaluate performance. Haven’t built it.”
“By far one of the best kits I have ever purchased; worth every penny. The build is outstanding; the product description on the website does not even begin to talk about the quality of build. If this is typical of a Black Horse build, I will be purchasing many more kits!!!!!”

“I'm a repet offender with Blackhorse planes and I must say with 7 planes in my hanger my biggest problem is which one do I fly today. Very happy customer”

“Excellent! I just wanted to say that the Motion RC Support Team was a pleasure to work with! I had a issue with a wing and they took care of it right away. This latest version has the slots moved to a slightly different location and that made all the difference in the world on how the model flies! It's a really joy now! Thanks!!”

“The ARF Kit had no surprises thus pretty straight forward assembly. You must search for contact points and cut outs from underneath the covering by feel as the pre-printed vinyl does not show them. Take great care when drilling the Wing Support points as if not done correctly could induce some wing warp. I used the plywood inserts to help me find dead center for my Admiral GP26-245Kv motor. While the manual states the CG is 110mm from leading edge of the Slat - the plywood CG jig is well behind that at or near 131mm. I chose to set up at 110mm from the slat which puts CG about 4mm behind the forward wing tube. I drilled new holes in the CG jig to set up at 110mm to balance the model hanging from the strings. My airframe required 1lb of ballast on the motor mount bolts to achieve fuselage level with 2 5s 8000mAh LiPo's set all the forward into the motor box battery try cavity. My maiden proved 10S power train provides more than ample thrust as anything over 70% throttle was wasted energy. The model flies excellent at the 110mm CG however Pilots should be advised to prepare for adverse Yaw which requires lots of Rudder to complete the turns. I advise NOT use suggested manual control throws at the 110mm CG.....my Airframe required the following throws on Maiden for successful flight in 10-12mph winds: A28mm - F25/45mm - E30mm - R35mm. Also advise to implement at least Flap-Elevator down mix at 8%/10%. I also had a mix of Rudder input at 30%. Full flap landings are pure joy and the airframe is happy to oblige in the low flap deployment for entire flights. This model is a wonderfully Odd model to see and fly. I expect to have 6-8minute flights as my throttle inputs get lower for slower flight and the batteries start to break in. An Excellent ARF to build and fly I have no issues giving 5 Stars. Please use the following uTube line for my maiden. https://youtu.be/hi4Ed0cLdTw?feature=shared”
