“I'm day by day more unsatisfied with this model. Missing parts, retaping blind nuts maybe i just got a bad model. The gear this plane comes with is not good at all! I have had issues since i have built the plane. My maiden flight gear would not come down but finally did after an seasoned pilot showed me a trick. With all the mounting screws tight gear sticks. All screws loose gear retracts. I've contacted motion with no response.”

“This kit really is amazing and the BH quality is top notch now compared to five or six years ago. This ARF is made in the same factory as Phoenix Models/Seagull Models/Top Flight/H9 and the quality really shows. The covering is really nice actually but, it gets a bad rap because it's a self stick type and not iron on. There is an included covering patch kit in three colors as well which is really nice. The hardware has been updated with better linkages than shown in the manual MotionRC has in the download section. Hardware is typical quality and same as on my Phoenix P-47 for five years without one tiny issue. Pilot is actually usable and better than previous attempts.Carbon fiber laminate is abundant in the fuselage and in the wing to the end of the wing tube area.The firewall is heavy ply and predrilled for 120CC.With the $200 discount for pick up, you can't beat this price.”

“Packaging was very well done. Arrived with no damage. Well built and solid glue joints for a lite built ARF. Absolutely a joy to fly. Did a bunch of landings today and really enjoyed the solid feel in flight. no bad habits at all. Only thing I replaced was the wheels. Had a set of Sierra FW wheels and they looked much better and went to a metal spinner.”

“Great flying airplane, the retracts are junk,,,,first flight had trouble going up,,,Second flight right would not come down! Landed with very little damage. Throw the retracts away, don’t use them. I’m looking for replacements. Covering bubbles in the sun, I was a little embarrassed as it looked so good in the shade. Spinner is to small. I put a DA120 with a 29x10 prop. Spinner won’t fit.”
